- Why can’t we reduce both Fat as well as Carbs
- Why we have to reduce only carbs
- Why you don’t recommend to reduce fats
The Answer is Simple

Body Needs Energy to Function
This Energy can be got from Carbs or from Fat, but it has to be got from either on of the above (or else there will be protein denaturation leading to Starvation and Finally death)
Because Energy is needed, We have to increase Fat intake when we reduce Carbs Intake

When you can get the energy from both Carbs as well as Fat, why are fats preferred and why not Carbs
The Answer is Simple
When we wat, the energy in our food
- Is Spend (or used)
- Is Stored
But, Nature has some surprises for you. The two main surprises are
- Whatever form of Energy you intake, whatever source from which it is obtained, it is stored as fat. Whether you take Carbs in Excess or Fat in Excess, it is stored as Fat
- The amount of Energy that has to be stored and the amount of energy that has to be utilised is determined by the amount of Carbs we intake
In Short,
It is the amount of Carbs in our food determines the amount of fat that gets stored in the body
Let me repeat it again
It is the amount of Carbs in our food determines the amount of fat that gets stored in the body, in the abdomen, inside the blood vessels
So
- Even if you take Only Carbs and Avoid taking fats altogether, there will be still fat deposition in your body
- If you taken both carbs as well as fats, there will be fat deposition in your body
- If you take Low Carbs and High Fats, most of these will be used and very very less will be stored. This is why those with Low Carb High Fat Diet (LCHF Diet) reduce weight and become lean
- If you take low carbs and low fats, body does not have enough source of energy. Hence body enters Catabolic Phase and the proteins are broken down, denatured and the amino acids are deaminated and they enter the Citric Acid Cycle to give energy. This will lead to muscle wasting, and left unchecked, even death
